Pete Frates, a Beverly native who is battling ALS (better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), presented Boston Bruin Patrice Bergon with a tshirt with an ALS ribbon on it. Frates and his friends and family were the guests of Bergeron’s for a recent Bruins game, sitting in his luxury suite behind the goal where the Bruins shot at twice.

In a recent article in the Salem News, RE/MAX Advantage broker / owner Terry Sullivan provided his thoughts on the real estate market. Terry and the other real estate agents who were interviewed agreed: The market has vastly improved over the past year. The inventory is low, which is creating a higher demand on the Buyer side & creating a higher dollar value for the Sellers.
Under the Governor’s budget, Danvers could reap nearly $9.37 million in local aid, a 14.3 percent increase above this fiscal year, said state Rep. Ted Speliotis, D-Danvers.
